ATTENDANCE: Every day matters…

Published:

Consistent attendance is the foundation of student success. When students show up regularly, they actively embody our WAKA values: fostering meaningful connections with peers and staff (Whanaungatanga), demonstrating care and respect for their own educational journey (Aroha), taking responsibility for their place in our school community (Kaitiakitanga), and striving toward their personal excellence (Angitūtanga). Even missing a day or two a fortnight adds up quickly, creating gaps in learning and making it harder for students to feel connected. By prioritizing daily attendance together, we ensure our young people remain supported, confident, and positioned to reach their full potential.
