Regular attendance at school is important to your student’s success and there is a clear connection between going to school regularly and doing well in the classroom. Making sure students attend and engage in learning is a shared responsibility. As a parent, you are responsible for making sure your student attends school every day. However, if you’re having trouble please get in touch with your student’s whānau teacher for support.

KC Term 3 Attendance Stocktake

43% of students attending 90% or more of the time.

The same figure as Term 3 2025. However chronic and moderate absence decreased year on year while irregular absence increased, perhaps attributable to the severity of winter illness this year.
