Website Update Friday 6 November

The hall roof was sealed today.  The surrounding areas were cleaned.  The interior of the building is being sealed off prior to decontamination starting.

The area near the roof will now be tested to determine whether it is safe.  The results will be known over the weekend.

If the site is safe, school will resume for everybody on Monday morning.
If we cannot use the site until more work is done we have contingency plans in place to get the school up and running off site quickly.

We also have a contingency plan for the NCEA exams.

Meanwhile, tonight (Friday), is the Auckland Secondary School Drama Awards evening.  Kaipara has eight nominations.  I wish all our drama crew the very best for the night.  Enjoy!

Please watch the website over the weekend.
We will post details about next week as soon as we know about the College site.
